Ordered two of these for the bathroom, thinking it would be a very nice addition. Well, they are… Sort of. Live and neutral wires don’t match US standards, which is fine. Not all countries use the same electrical codes. The problem is that the black was labeled “N” and the white “L”. So two possibilities here. The wires were labeled incorrectly or the color coding is that of outside the US. Either way would be fine, as long as the instructions say so. The instructions were very simple and ambiguous. Even the mounting illustration showed the bracket in a vertical orientation, but actually needs to be installed horizontally. after a proper voltage test on each line and a socket, it turned out that the labeling is absolutely correct. So, after installing the bulbs, wiring properly and hitting the breaker, they looked beautiful, except one of the bulbs appeared to be burned out. No worries. Bulbs that are included with the product are sometimes not so great. The bulb did look like it was burnt out when installing. I replace the bulb and the others with 40W Edison style daylight bulbs. The problem bulb wasn’t the bulb but the socket itself. No worries. I’ll just put in for a replacement through Amazon. Nope. None available now. So, I guess I’ll be sending both of them back. By the way, I was unable to track down support from any manufacture of this product. I can only see that it’s sold by Deluxe Lamp, seemingly based in Canada but have no contact information and can’t find anything online. Super disappointed with the whole experience.
