I bought the Brushed Nickel and the Oil Rubbed Bronze for my two bathrooms. For sub-$50 faucets, these are unexpectedly sturdy. The tragically overpriced plumber even commented on the quality. They look great, they work great, and they function as sturdily as they feel. We have experienced the concerns about them holding water, and attempting to wipe the water in the trough just draws more water from behind the mesh screen. The water evaporates quickly enough, and on the Brushed Nickel, any residue is invisible. Not so on the Oil Rubbed Bronze. The more I think about it, the less willing I am to give it 5 stars, so please see separate review for that faucet. You can't lose with the Brushed Nickel, though.Alas, I cannot do a separate review for the Oil Rubbed Bronze, so consider that finish 4 stars. I am not sure how to remove the white residue without damaging the finish - I will be reading up on that. We have talked about applying some kind of lubricant to encourage the water to run off and protect the finish. The main reason for taking away a star for this issue is that it is doubtful that there is a true fix, and we're likely to be dealing with this for the life of the faucet. Other than that, this is still a great faucet.
